A private email client for one person

Noir is an email client built on top of Gmail. It shows the mail of the Gmail accounts connected to it in one dense list, sorts each mail by category and priority before it is read, and lets its owner read, search, answer and tidy that mail from a computer or a phone.

It is run by one person for their own mail. There is no sign-up: only the owner's Google account can sign in, and every other account is turned away.

What it asks Google for

• Who is signing in: the name and address of the Google account.
• Access to that account's Gmail, to read mail, change its labels (read, starred, archived, spam, trash), keep drafts and send mail the owner writes.

What happens to that mail is on the privacy page.
